Life On Mars

Conspiracy theorists are having a field day
“NASA is hiding the truth,” they loudly say
They see a rock shaped like a bone
“Life was here, but now it’s gone!”
When an odd-shaped rock they see
“It looks exactly like a lizard to me!”
“That’s a human skull I see there!
What you say, I don’t at all care!”
Now look what they think they found
“It’s surely Big Foot moving around!”
I think how often I did spy
Living things up in the sky
“There’s a man’s face I see!
Here, a horse that has to be!”
All but those who are mentally blind
Know in the clouds, shapes we find
Rocks on Mars are the same way
When imagination goes into play
Conspiracy theorists don’t care
They’re sure Mars life is there
“NASA is doing an evil plot
To convince us there’s not!”
It’s just like with killing JFK
“The FBI did it,” these nuts say
