Living under the cloud of Covid 19
Listen to the pale hushed words without sounds;
Listen to the murmurs of frustration that assault our spirits.
See how they spin crazily in their dire solitude
See how they hang onto the edge of their sanity.
I look on as the sun set stillness upon the sky
I see black clouds squeeze out rain.
I touch the earth. It has received its bounty.
And Life begins its quiet chatter once again.
