Life Never Gets Better Than This
Luna settled down over the farm house with a feeling of calm.
The inhabitants deserved an evening of beautiful dreams.
Star light sprinkled pixie dust on the house in the way of a faerie.
Luna smiled; a rare gift; signifying the pureness of the couple inside.
The newlyweds settled down in front of the fire, happy to be together.
They were soulmates, who had prayed to find their other half for years.
Discovered each other in a cafe six months ago; married yesterday.
“You are so beautiful,” he told her. She, loved being his wife.
He made her feel special, revered and adored.
She had never felt this terrific.
“You are my goddess,” he said. She laughed, it was so unlike him.
And yet it was totally the man whom only she knew.
Life never gets better than this.
