Life Long Gone

If my hunger held you over there would be nothing you would need you could dine on my desire and be sated from the feed If my words were strong enough you could be kept from the cold I would wrap you in the verses with the stories I have told If my aching cleanses wrongs redemption would be found apologies and intentions leave me tethered to the ground If my sadness makes you real then real you seem to be I have a purpose urging sadly longing to be free
