Life Lessons I learnt
LESSONS OF LIFE/ LIFE'S LESSONS
1. the importance of the Golden Rule.
2. The importance of good manners--especially, Thank U, Please,Please excuse me, Pardon me.
3. The impotance of trying something different to try to solve a problem that you have tried something else before to solve without result.
4. The importance of Solitude.
5. The iportance of meditation, reflection....retrospection, introsepction.
6. The importance of Humility, and apologising when wrong.....of admitting it when it is your fault. Not being boastful or feeling that you are better or more importance that others.
7. The importance of Giving.....sharing...caring. \Being selfless as opposed to selfishness.
8. The importance of being genuine....HONESTY.
9. The impotance of good great health practices, eating and drining healthily, excercise, sleeping well.
10 The importance of accepting your fate....like they used to say if life gives you limes or lemons...try to make lemonade.
11. The importance of optimism.....Positiveness of positivity.
12. Sometimes the best thing to do is to follow your gut instinct(s).
13. The impotance of listening to good music....to your favorite music every now and again.
14. The importance of doing what you love....the things that make you happy.....but not wrong things.
15. Believe in Yourself. CONFIDENCE is important. \you know your capabilities, silence the critics and naysayers.
16. Stick to and follow your principles/morals.....Realise that quite often the crowd or multitude got it wrong. Sometimes you just have to think through/sift through things crtically....the importance of critical thinking. Sometimes you have to ignore the criticisms of the so called expersts and naysayers who quite oten are wrong.
17. Like my Granny used to say....Sometimes money isn't all.
18. Things you use quite often always try to have at least a spare.
19. As far as possible try to avoid people or so called make believe friends whom you find dishonest, hypocritical, devious, deceptive, dubious, or hyperbolic or hyperbolical.
20. Once A Man Twice A Child.
21. Life Is Like A Mirror, do good and good comes back at you. Frown and Life Frowns back at you. Be giving and life gives back. Kindness begets kindness. Be perpetually pessimistic and ill fate will always follow you.
22. When it's Your day it's your day. When it is your time it's your time. Everybody has a day...a special day. What is for you in life you will get it no matter who tries to block or blank you. What is meant for you is for you. What is meant to be will be. This is Destiny.
And guess what I challenge any of you to comment with any additional good ones relevant to you and your life that I did not mention here.
