Life Is Too Brief

Life Is Too Brief. I wasted time and now I look at you In a situation, I’ve also been through I keep my lips buttoned, Tongue between teeth, You’re calm above Turmoil beneath. I gave you my thoughts, brutal or not The angel doesn’t realise what she’s got Watching you wriggle A fish on the line I’m glad she’s yours Happy not mine. There’ll be a moment, you’ll grab a bag Pack up your troubles, load up your Jag I see it coming Don’t be afraid Stick with your mind You’ve been betrayed. Time to step in, take a walk in our shoes The moment is coming to end this abuse Freedom inspires Taste the relief Come smell the roses Life is too brief. David Cox 22/05/22

Thanks Gordon. We never appreciate what we have until it's gone. Thanks again, Dave.
