Life Is Like a Maypole

Life is like a maypole




A red frill of romance
wrapped around my soul,
Green of vivid ideas
keeps shaking me as a whole,
Blue of my creativity
as the words rock and roll,
Yellow of my family
is such a magnetic control,
Orange of my heart,
beating beyond control,
Pink, Purples and Whites don't lag
writings on a peaceful scroll,
How colourful am I !
and Life is like a maypole !
