Life Is Beautiful

Each day sheds new light
Unto the earth, changes occur
People lay in dormant slumber,
Though, their eyes are wide awake

Staring incessantly into the sun
Seeking the answers of tomorrow
We can only realize that we are
Present upon the earth and have time

So, the drudgery of the day can overcome
And all can witness the evil upon the earth
We must still admit to ourselves that
Life, in itself, is beautiful

We have the chance to make good
We have time, maybe not a lot, but enough
Let us take time to admit the faults
However, focus on the one good that we find

Though grey at times and rainy
The sun is still in the sky behind the clouds
Life, too, can be interpreted this way, so remember
Life is beautiful.
