Life Is a Poem In Itself

Youth

Born.
A new book to open
Hundred blank pages of promises
A life yet to write.

Elder

Awaken.
Find the life has taken flight
Provide only slightly time
To leave behind a mark, a footprint.

Dead

Silence.
Last word had written.
A poem of life framed in memories
The journey has ended.
