~ Life Is a Kaleidoscope ~ 5/25/2026 Life is a game, so, which role do you choose to play? In lifes’s cacophony of human hearts on display? What is your role in this drama of millions of metrical, truth-sayers? I ask myself this, whenver a poem, in moonlight mist, I conjure up to post. Not expecting a comment from anyone, or to be lauded, at a literati roast! I’d much prefer to write poet songs, home alone about the glory, or angst of relationships. These are the songs, that dreams are made of, in the moonglowing-sapphiric experience. Forever dreaming of soft, magical, deep verbiage and longing to hear love’s tender, calls. The ecstasy, the dreaming, of kissing his expectant lips, beneath rainbow-misted,of lit gentle, waterfalls. Do we shape the poem,verily,or..does the magic of a poem shape us? Are we here to impress, or dare we try to really connect with another’s spititus?

Hello Panagiota, Like life, ever-changing as seen through the sighing lens of a poem. "Forever dreaming of soft, magical, deep verbiage and longing to hear love’s tender, calls. // The ecstasy, the dreaming, of kissing his expectant lips, beneath rainbow-misted, of lit gentle, waterfalls." Right to the head of the class with that. Of course we're here to impress. -Richard

Thank you, how funny! I was just reading a poem of yours, this poem asks a question , that is the point! I am a poewith more questions than answers., I was married to a philosophical man and his influence on me is highly significant. I think I have no answers to things. Or to put it another way, I have more questions than answers about life.. that’s what a good philosopher does~ a good philosopher is not an answer man. I am not one of those. Since I was 18 years old, I asked questions of everything and everyone.. life is more exciting with questions than answers. Hugs, Pangie

John, I have been here five years almost every day and they’ve written I think 3497 poem. Restaurant included comments, others have been on here a lot longer than I in Britain far more poetry. But when you need to rest, you need to rest.. and our eyes especially need a red. I found out that the hard way.. I thought I was losing my vision, but I’m OK. A good thanks to God for that.. I didn’t know what happened to you. And I appreciate your letting me know.. thank you, Pangie.xx

Great questions there, P. Methinks the words 'dare we' are the key. And, sadly, most of us, including me, don't. The brave ones do --- and the REAL poets do too. This is a real box of 'Wish I hads' and 'What ifs'. Bravo, P. ~ Gershon

Hi Gershon! Dare we~ is the questioon! Dare I be me? Is so powerful!! I am sure I always gave the ghost of dare I with me. But do I? This is a piwerful question. It determines our future and that of the planet. Its much easier to be a people pleaser than be me, and in that pirocess, destroy my very own happiness. Your comment was inspiring, Life to please others? Presenting a phony me? Is a life lost! Hugs, Pangie

Thanks you Darlene. Yes indeed t could be either one, or both. Neither is right nor wrong. It depends how much wants to share of their inner soul. Most will not or cannot. People come first to me. Popularity is fun. Hugs thank you. Pangie. This was a philishical poem which eacg of us anwers in our way.)))
