The mystery of love I have known
And cannot explain more than
any man can
never fully recovering from hands
imprinted on my body
words left without explanation
thought with no reason
soft kisses beguiling common senses
I am your partner
who must learn obedience
to the tenants of commitments
to your expectations
Surely one lifetime will be enough
