Life in heaven

I dream of heaven when I am awake, with shattered thoughts at daybreak

I see the sun on the horizon, my fair maiden from her sleep is rising

In the halls of heaven the virgin feasts, not ever touched by man or beast

Her body alight with vivid light, a precious gem glittering so bright

Her parted lips, as ripe figs, her scattered servants immortal kids

My longing for her is quite compelling, in a crystal palace my maiden is dwelling

Her silky dress accessorized with gold, her silver sleeves were slightly rolled

On an ivory sofa she is reclining, silky pillows with golden lining

In the shades of heaven the righteous root, with an abundance of meat and nectar fruit

They never bleed and never ache, without a sin always awake

All hatred from their hearts extracted, pure souls, brothers connected

On platforms of light life they enjoy, above them roam immortal boys

From Salsabiel they all shall drink, a healthy cup of water spring

Fountains of water, ponds of beer, non like the eye has seen, nor the ear could hear

Rivers of milk and pools of honey, cups of wine and endless bliss

Life in heaven is man’s reward, only in heaven he will meet his Lord
