Life In a Moment
We live life in a moment
Then in a second, it's gone
No one under the sun can explain.
Why we can't have it twice.
And when we are gone.
To where we can't even paint a fair picture about.
Heaven or hell.
No one knows better than the Almighty Himself.
Who is there to tell us,
About the ones we leave behind?
The emptiness we leave in their lives.
The tears they never stop shedding.
All the days of our lives
The quest for happiness never ends
And where can we find it,
To even the least satisfaction?
When we know not,
About what a second changes in our journey.
At a loss of a loved one.
Second after the other.
Some leave us because they found better.
Others never understand us.
And choose not to stay
Yet, while we hope for one to look back someday.
We are constantly robbed of the ones that mean the whole world to us.
Sadly, we can never get them back.
Not even with the latest technology.
No scientific theory provides a way possible.
No invention.
No machine can preserve a good memory shared.
Except for our broken hearts.
And our bruised ego.
We are left empty and in pieces.
Torn apart by the misery.
Tormented by the fact that some are gone and never coming back.
We cry, we sob.
Just to get some relief.
Choking on our greatest fear.
With holes bored deep in our hearts.
Tears in our eyes.
And no words on our still lips.
Trying to believe
That even when its stone cold.
We shall be okay.
A broken heart,
Is a heart that's been loved.
It pains to lose.
We don't wanna be left alone.
But we pray for peace
Wherever they go.
We pray for comfort
In our troubled souls.
We live life in a moment.
Live it to the fullest.
