Life In a Fish Bowl

I am stuck in this zombie’s land
Where bubbles squirt out of plastic ships
Depressed fish swirling around themselves
Opening their mouths so they can breathe

I am stuck in this void grave yard
Where the pink sea shell opens his big mouth
To show off his fake glittery pearl
When he sticks out his dark tongue

I am stuck in repeating waves
Two cubit by five, to be precise
Where suicidal fish, hitting their heads to the eternal glass walls
Where colored pebbles keep watching till we die

I am stuck in this sunless sea
Where the lamp is on day and night
The master brings us dried flakes
We feast on what he thinks is nourishing pile

He too is stuck in a heartless world
Where imprisoning colorful fish is fun
Where he has lost hope to keep human touch
To put his heart out, and get it back in one part

I ponder if my master has died since long!
