Life, I Search
O life !
What expresses you?
Tears or joy, death or brightness,
slavery or freedom, blood or sand.
I find you or not,
situations, circumstances,
pleadings before cruel death.
The heart of a child or hidden in the smile of my beloved.
I search you,
For time and time to come,
dawns, days, twilights,
even when dreams in the deserted night touch my unconscious eyes.
O life !
What expresses you?
Winning or losing,
darkness or colors,
or you yourself.
