Life has no meaning, but it is worth living
Life has no meaning, but it is worth living,
on the condition that you recognize it has no meaning.
And I walk through the empty streets of my mind,
through the labyrinth of thoughts that intertwine and unravel,
a dance of shadows and lights,
a symphony of melancholy,
as if every step I take is an echo of eternity,
a murmur of falling stars.
When I look into the mirror of time,
I see old and new faces,
faces bearing the imprints of past decades,
smiles swept away by the wind of forgetfulness,
tears evaporating in the cold air of memories,
and yet I continue to walk, to breathe,
to feel the warmth of the sun on my skin,
even though I know the sun will set and night will come again.
I stretch my hands towards the cloudy sky,
touching the leaden clouds floating above me like heavy thoughts,
but in that weight, I find a beauty, a peace,
a hidden magic in every raindrop that falls on the thirsty earth,
a dance of life and death,
a poem written with invisible ink.
I run through the forests of dreams,
among the trees that raise their arms towards infinity,
their roots deeply embedded in the soil of reality,
and I wonder if meaning is just a mirage,
an illusion created by our minds to feel less lost,
less alone in this vast and silent universe,
where every star is a point of light in a sea of darkness.
But even in this lack of meaning,
I find reasons to smile,
to laugh, to love, to live,
for each day is a new story, a new chapter,
a new chance to discover hidden wonders in the mundane everyday,
in simple gestures and fleeting glances,
in the comforting touch of a friend,
in the gentle whispers of the wind that tells me the secrets of eternity.
