Life Goes By
I seat in the shadows of the night.
Wishing that someday I'll see the light.
Wishing I could see the moon shine so bright.
I look out the window and I see the world go by.
I'm thinking to myself why am I so shy.
I wish I knew how to try.
Seeing people come.
And seeing people go.
In this cold weather in the snow.
Talking to myself can't be healthy.
Someday I'll be wealthy.
While its melting.
In my head I'm yelling.
At least it's not hailing.
As water flows in our yard.
Someone is using our debit card.
I wish I knew what to say.
But like every other day.
My mind is so gray.
