Life Can Be Hard
I ride my life on camel backs
sit on python skin carpets
eat from ostrich egg-shells
sleep on ribs of fallen dogs
wear wooden overall dress
tongue chained by silence
but hope persists and thrives
Oh, the neglected in Africa!
