Life is like a battle that I constantly fight,
when I was foolhardy I was fighting alone.
But God was all knowing and aware of my plight,
He’s our burden bearer when from sin we atone.
In advanced age came things that I didn’t expect,
things that existed beyond any forward vision.
From within, my deep thought all became circumspect,
He now controls my thoughts and my indecision.
The biggest battle in life
is with yourself.
