Life Begins With a Choice
Life begins with a choice,
Not yours, but theirs
You don’t even have a voice,
To live or die is never your selection
My mother chose to give life
Though the “sperm donor” chose abortion
I am here today because mom
Believed that life was the only option
And this new life was a gift from
God - and needed her protection.
Thank you mother for this life
I love you more than words can say
I will always shine with your affection
