Life As the Phoenix
Shattered like falling tears colliding on karma’s lips
sniffling ideas linger between the pieces of a broken spirit.
A spirit which once stood indestructible on the doorsteps of hell
and fearless in the living rooms of the dead.
Now I lay shattered,
Powerless,
Gasping for air amid rapids which course crevices of my face;
Striving not to be drowned by the wells of my own origins
I search,
Severely seeking shattered sources of a severed smile.
Gathering aspects of I,
Yet leaving fallacies of reality amongst broken pieces.
I will rise a phoenix until
