Notes About The Poem

Life as it should be

i'm feeling antsy
itching to break out

leisure beckons
calls out loud

summer lingering
who knows for how long

playing tourist
while i can

sitting under the sun
drinking sangria

i'm feeling woozy
warm and fuzzy

sitting back
feeling mellow

life is good
life is fine

a winsome, heartfelt poesy which honors the many pleasures of a season with a sangria toast to boot...engaging artwords, line!

Thanks, Nette. Imagining you and I as well as other PS poets drinking off in the sunset somewhere ~
