Life, As I Know It
LIFE, AS I KNOW IT
Life is really a series of ups and downs,
like riding a roller coaster, rough, uncertain.
There are always cross roads in your life.
You can choose the one mostly or the one
less travelled; although you don’t have a clue
what you would come across on either of them.
Why not make your own trail for you have your
own life path and you do not have to follow what
others took before you, so go where there is no
road, make your own path, trail for others to follow.
Life, as I know it, can be bitter and sweet.
Yes, bitter when everything coming your way
seems harsh knocking you down, like an
unpredictable storm, so turbulent throwing
you down and out and shakes you up and
you go spiraling down in the darkness or
you get up again and again until you find
your footing to follow the light, out of the
darkness with unbreakable faith and hope.
And yes, life sweet life that you always desire
can take place when everything seems all right.
You feel wonderful, delightful, joyous when
there is nothing to worry for everything is
incredibly working out your way; although
it is just temporary for nothing is permanent.
Yet, you hold on to sweet memories of the
sweetest times or moments of your life so
dearly, tenderly for the rest of your life.
