Life and Lessons

When your growing you learn and are eager to learn.
When you are a teen you think you know it all.
When you grow up you wonder what you were ever thinking during those teen years.
Then you get older and you pray you will remember the day.
Yet somewhere deep within it is kept safe and all still there.
The things you learned, said, did.
Cherished memories, your ups, downs and all arounds.
Triumphs to tragedies, love you have, loves you lost.
An inventory of our most cherished possessions.
Your life flashes like a slide show right before your eyes.
You see just what you have and are thankful for what you have got.
You learn your life has been good from the lessons you've been taught.
