I heard someone tell a similar story and thought it would make a good poem. The theme and idea is what I based this on but I've written it myself with no plagiarism.
Twin babies float in their mother’s womb growing strong they'll be delivered soon communicating to each other in their way experiencing so much, and much to say Twin one said, shaking his head,” we are getting old… and soon we'll be delivered as foretold. Do you think brother, there will be more? A life after delivery on that far shore?” Twin two just scoffed and rolled his newformed eyes. “Do you believe that brother? I’m surprised! All that new life nonsense is worse than wrong, there is only this life, and nothing when it’s gone.” “Well, said One, it is said we grow 10 times our size! that we will live out of water and move using our thighs!” Two shook his head disgusted and sighed. “That sounds like a fantastic pack of lies!” “Oh, and I heard we will eat with our mouths! That the door to heaven is down somewhere in the south. And of course you have to believe in the Mother!?” “That is the biggest lie of all”,said his brother. “But the Mother is real!”,said twin one fervently. “I can only believe in what I hear and see.” “Then be still brother and listen very close… in the stillness is when I can hear Mother the most.” “I feel her loving presence all around, Sometimes I hear her voice the sweetest sound.” Then suddenly their world began to close in tight! They held each other close in their stark fright. “What’s happening to us?!”,twin two screamed out! “Don’t worry brother, it’s this I heard about! The end of this life begins this way… After the darkest night comes a brand new day. “
