Life
I met her on my way to earth,
Few seconds then, just after my birth,
The woman who introduced me to her,
Left her for her sister earlier,
Having nobody to hold my hand,
So in her I could have a tall stand.
Despite being her guest, she was cruel,
Meeting her I cried, that I remember well,
Unfair she was to me compared to others,
Making me question her love for my brothers,
I asked her how many sides had she,
Answer she gave me, was wait and see.
I realized she had both good and bad,
And could foretell I had to work hard,
My name to gain some meaning in her in future,
All these I think but I'm not mature.
Still she uses me in my prime,
Leaving me to her sister for rest of the time,
Though for her sister she has no love,
Between them I'm the only linking nerve.
