Life

why the sun rules the day,
why the moon` s comrade of the night,
why the stars hurl down their spears,
why the Nightingale talks the night away,
i know for certain.

But why a man dies,
and another cries,
and despair opens the gate of misery on us,
as if life` s journey were a shadows` bliss,
i understand not.

i understand not why,
to every up there`s a down,
to every hope there`s a doom,
to every light there`s a sorrow.
i understand not!

life! life! life!
Same old of time.
How many more seasons?
How many more times?
