Life

Opening my eyes, what do I see, my life, all ahead of me
I know nothing, growing, I can walk
Seasons pass, childhood, school, college
Successful jobs, nice career
Successful marriage, children, grandchildren
Seasons pass, in my decline
I know nothing, aging, can no longer walk
Closing my eyes, what do I see, my life, all behind me.
