Lies Under Lies

Lies Under Lies

at that moment
i looked into the heavens
so beautiful and tranquil
so heavenly, paradise
blossoms of utopia
sheets of soft pillow white
beckoning me
beckoning me
to bare my soul
and repent
lies under lies
I did
I did
I stripped off
my clothes
jumped into her bed
and made up for my sins
I did
I did
lies under lies

Love the way you pushed the tempo near the end. Lies can only lead to truth once exposed.
