Lies

it was all a game
what a shame
she could never be the same
with all the lies that he had claimed
she would never have the last name
it was him that was to blame

the starry sky she saw each night
this reminded her of how he made her feel when it was right
she didn't want to fight
she wanted everything to be right
cutting out the light
missing him every night

without him her life was empty and void of pleasure
