Lies

Lies

The only things you tell me now
I don't believe your words anymore

Lies

Everyone you have been with
Everywhere you've been

Lies

Can't look at my face
Can't look me in the eyes

Lies

Can't act very convincing
when you're telling me

Lies

Takes a man to admit he's done wrong
Takes a man to say he's sorry

Lies

But you're too busy
making up your next story

Lies

I enjoyed reading your poetry this morning Paula. I will be away for the weekend and will be back to read Monday. May you have a wonderful weekend filled with love and inspiration. Love, Carol
