Lies
Lies,
we hear them,
rushing through our temples;
corrupting our very minds;
perverting our very thoughts;
today we heard-
a lie.
A lie,
where millions begin to die,
their bodies filled with lead;
without provocation; led,
becoming dust;
dispersed.
We hear it,
yet we cannot act.
Fades into the past and becomes the fact;
we must move on,
we mustn't weep,
life proceeds;
cruelly.
