Lie

A lie is but a fleeting game, Yet it can bring lasting shame. It's starts with just a simple twist, Then we find ourselves in a wistful mist. We tell ourselves it's harmless fun, That no one will be hurt when all is done. But lies have a way of spreading fast, And eventually, they caught up at last. A broken trust is hard to mend, An lies can lead to bitter end. So let us all strive to be true, And avoid the pain that lies ensure.
