Lickety Split

Like diamonds bathed in sun,
Islands in the
Caribbean call my name.
Kiss me with your sultry
Energy and charm.
There’s a beach bum waiting for me, with
Yellow hair bleached by the sun.

Such longing I feel, as he
Pulls me to paradise, where.
Love blooms at last.
If only in a wink-of-the-eye dream,
Tropical splendor is mine.

I would not say no to a Caribbean holiday, Carolyn! For many this could turn out to be a holiday of a lifetime, including tropical romance and love. gl in the contest. Hugs // paul
