Liberty Is

Liberty is desperately seeked by all
But one may stand or one may fall

Achieving it is in one's destined fate
still we do attempt to enter its gate

Liberty's a goal for one and all
It's in the voice of a caged bird's call

It's in the pitiful murmers inside a jail
Inmates desperately hoping for bail

Liberty's a camouflaged tiry dance
of a chained monkey, seeking for chance

To free its neck from the heavy chain
That jingles all day inflicting pain

Liberty's sought in the solitary strain
Of a woman with a great deal of pain

Her married life's turned upside-down
Stuck in a thick soup, ready to drown

Liberty's dissolved in the tears
She sheds secretly because she fears

Liberty's thus a long desired dream
For many remain cornered to extreme.
