The greatest gift I can give to you The gift that is shaded by hues of affection Inspired by faith in our God above And filled with a promise of poise Hope that makes a way for each longing Faith that is astride feelings so vibrant They break through the chaos and fear Bring light, love and laughter to cheer The most dreary day with sunny rays That grace each thought with promises Of joy so free that it leaves no room For worry, discouragement or despair The greatest gift I can give to you The gift that captures all my thoughts With music breathed through a prayer Haunting beautiful hopes with a dream For something so special, so rare That I can only reveal it’s glory to those Who listen with their very hearts and souls To the answers discovered in the One Who gives every prayer a opportunity A blessing to be welcomed and honored Sanctified and exalted by everlasting grace Love that frees the spirit to breath wisdom The greatest gift I can give to you Is the gift of love so alive, so bright It breaks through the sunrise with hues Of brilliant ideas and inspirational truths Beckoning to the soul who wants to hope For mercy that abides on the praises Sent up to the One who knows our thoughts Our dreams, our beliefs, our vision The reason for everything we commence Even those things we might not finish The ones that leave us feeling so incomplete But reveal in us a spirit of real freedom To give God all the glory for such liberty The greatest gift I can give to you Is the same liberty to be the real you

Regina, Wondrous gifts in this poem. It sings in your refrain, better to give than to receive. -Richard

The gift of liberty is most welcome, Gina! We should be proud of being who we really are; imitation could certainly cause problems. ~ Regards & Blessings // paul

Liberty to be who God meant for us to be would be wonderful for each person. Without God we would be nothing. Your visits to my page are always welcome. Sara
