Liberty

What the heck is wrong with you? It makes no sense what you do; You cry your tears; such sad views, Of choices that lead straight to who? Not the ones in Washington, They cannot get the job done. All they do is take from some, And in the end help but one; The one they help is the game That keeps all held to a flame; Which burns of promises so lame, Self-power being their true aim. Why do not all eyes that see, Understand the futility, Of trying to create equality, When what really works is liberty. Freedom brings prosperity, All else leads to tyranny; Many throughout history, Have explained this awesome mystery. The masses always yearning, For freedom from tyrants burdening; Those that have refused learning, Fall to obedience of living; Living lives of demanding, We are entitled to free caring; Thus, our votes are supporting, The voices that call for stealing; We claim that our misery, Is based on inequality; So, we’ve chosen tyranny, Fearing the price of liberty; What the cost of liberty? Only constant vigilance; Against the forces of deception, That holds to this misconception; That by the use of tyranny, Governments can create equality; When their schemes in reality, Only equalize more misery; They attempt to legislate prosperity, Using governmental tyranny; Please just learn some history, Then you too would choose liberty.

You are absolutely, positively right, Kenneth, from the first line to the last... If only they would learn some history!! Just let them see how many times Marxism has failed. Maybe a two-month stay in Venezuela or Cuba would do the trick?! (Then again, maybe not. Ideology tends to be blinder than even Love!). Three cheers for you! Thanks, Gershon

Thanks for checking in Gershon. The record seems a bit obvious to me, but as you say ideology is blinding.
