Liberated while alive

He who is awake,
mind calm as a lake,
the Self recognised,
is God realised.

Through life’s storms unfazed,
by God’s grace amazed,
no desires tabled,
is bliss enabled.

The heart centre thawed,
focus fixed on God,
though in form is free,
roaming earth carefree.

Free from ego’s snare
and yet self-aware,
forgives one and all,
always standing tall.

Beyond three bodies,
bliss God embodies,
where we feel complete,
love and light replete.

From cosmic egg hatched,
pure presence detached,
atop love’s moonbeam,
sees life as a dream.

No tempests to tame,
the flicker-free flame,
just shines by itself,
as the light of Self.

Dear US, your spiritual poem is profound in its deep beauty and rich symbolism. Indeed, one who is "Self recognised,/is God realised." Surrender of ego, desire and attachment brings bliss. Your golden pen shines with eloquence and liberation! Warmest wishes, my poet friend.. ~Susan

Thank you, Susan dear. If you liked this one then do consider reading the English translations of Ashtavakra Gita and Ulladu Narpadu* (*40 verses by Ramana Maharishi)
