Liberal Leadership

Watching my country deteriorate
Ethics and integrity they shut the door on
Seeing no common sense on the Supreme Court bench
Liberal leadership is an oxymoron
They’ve taken all a working man makes
And everything he will ever earn
Then give it away in Federal Grants
Like it was their money to burn
They’ve created entitlement minded robots
Waiting for their monthly check
They’ve created chaos in Congress
And made Social Security a wreck.

    In the 50's they decided that the witheld
social security payments would be part of your
gross income (not in the original plan)
then decided to increase the amounts witheld. 
In the 60's they decided to put it into the 
general fund so they could access it at will. 
In the 70's with liberals in the executive office 
and congress decided that the immigrant Who never 
contributed to the "retirement " plan could 
access the money just by filling out forms. 
A massive war against the working man. 
God Help us in 2008.

Michael Jordan August 4, 2008 at 12:21 PM Vince - You are so right about that - This country is in a mess and it's going to get a lot worse I think - The working class is the backbone of this country and they are just breaking our backbones in half - Even through my drug years when I was free I worked - always have and always will - Every empire in history has crumbled from with-in and I reckon its our turn - God help us

James Foulk August 4, 2008 at 11:02 AM yes and it is only going to get worse, no matter who we have for a president. we need to do away with the Supreme Court, or at least take away a lot of their power. Congress is a joke. the federal grants are going to people who don't really need them. i agree with you. a nice poem with a lots of truth.
