Liar's Storm
Storm clouds hung
dark; as day began
to end - nasty words
muttered low; emotions running
high - raindrops fail
to wash away broken
promises or shattered
cries; for he held no
truth - no love as
proof as she looked him
in the eye
Thunder rumbled; shaking
rain as it dripped into
two-paths
off his forked tongue
Winds, whirled and
curled sweeping his
garbage onto the street
where dirt and disgust
lay collected; standing
naked and unprotected;
his coat of deceit laying
crumpled at his feet
