Liars

Why do you keep lying?
About who you are
It takes more effort to do that
Than it takes to drive a car

If you told the truth
And did not try to scam
Maybe you would find out
Who I really am

Self-deception is a crafty foe -- hoodwinking the adversary to accept the lie and then spreading it, destroying relationships and truth as it slithers around. Loved your poem. 7
