Letting Go

It was not easy but it had to be done
Cause I was starting to hate you and it was no longer fun
I cried and pleaded with every tear under the sun
But did that help… No, so I had to just let go

You said that you loved me but how is the question
Or maybe I was not what you wanted but you convenience?
You made me melt and yet you failed to reshape me
I was so loud with pain even the blind could see
With no words even the deaf could speak for me
But because of you and how you are, I’m letting go.
