Letting Go
The distance only made it hard,
So close to my heart and yet so far,
If only I had the second chance,
To redo that love all over again,
What I would say now in the present,
The words from the past I couldn't manage,
They wouldn't come out, all I could do was feel,
The heart you couldn't hear, but felt so real,
If only for a moment, I could go back,
Retrace my steps, make up for the past,
I loved you, but I had to let go,
Until I die, you'll never know,
And one day, when we stand in heaven,
I pray God allows you to fully understand it,
All the things back then I couldn't say,
I know will come to light one day.
