Letters
If only love letters
could be a simple thing to write.
I would have written
you hundreds,
if not thousands already.
If the words I choose
could describe accurately
how your smile affects me
or how the mere sound
of your voice spirals me
into an uncontrolled state of bliss.
I would gladly pen them down,
If I could find a way
to relate my dreams,
to show you what I am trying to say.
Would you be willing to listen?
Give me a chance to explain.
