Letter To You

Your heart is like a magnet,
It pulls mine in.

The way I feel around you scares me,
But yet I feel safe in your arms,
With your embrace,
Your kiss,
The way you talk.

When you're away I get scared and lonely.

I want to trust again,
Feel loved and love back,
Be able to accept happiness with you.

The past should not stop me from living my future,
From a life with you,
But the scars are too much,
Too visible,
It's hard not to see the impact it has.

Only thing I ask my love, is to be patient, be open.
Life without you just isn't.
