Letter To My Angel

I cannot hold you
Because you had to go
Why God took you i really don't know
A voice on the phone said you were no longer here
Your death to me still isn't clear
You were young and full of life
Leaving behind four boys and a wife
On the highway that September day
The fog rolled in and God took you away
Time goes on and i say i am alright
Often wiping the tears that blur my sight
Sweetheart i miss you so very much
Your smile your laughter the warmth of your touch
As i write this tears fall from my eyes
But God did give his Angel wings to fly
So if you have some time and can find your way
Drop in and see me i have so much to say
But for now i say goodnight its getting late
Yours Truly Your Wife And Soul Mate
