Letter To Me

Hello you, how have you been?
It's a long time now since you were a teen.
Thinking yourself too spotty, sarcastic and thin.
Look what has happened since in between.

You ended up with your integrity intact.
A wonderful mother and that's a fact.
A miserable marriage you finally escaped.
Reclaiming your voice, your soul, your space.

You're a granny now and how cool that's been.
Searching each for your favourite genes.
With time to cuddle, cajole and teach.
Inspire and inform instead of preach.

Old age has been kind, no pressure or stress.
Peace to unwind with no need to impress.
Time to reflect on how good life has been.
You are happy, content, secure and serene.

A bad marriage is worst than the worst pain. Jean Murray April 1, 2022 at 8:41 PM PASHANG!! Hello again. I misplaced my muse at the end of last summer and she is in hiding still. I miss her but now consider her a gift that got me through my darkest hours. All is good with me and mine. I forgave and asked for forgiveness from my x husband a year ago. Suddenly the heavy weight I had dragged around was gone. Now we share a 7 month old grandson and much joy enjoying him. So lovely of you to ask after me and I hope all is also good with you and yours.

Little Leo. 3 months old now and already has his mum and dad wrapped around his little finger. Another half dozen offspring between my 3 offspring would do nicely.
