I want a letter from you, dear,
One to make me feel better.
Yes, indeed I want a letter.
I want a signal from you darling,
One to show me that you care.
Do you care? Your words are rare.
I want a poem from you, Peaches.
A fancy one, not rude or funny.
Yes I need a poem from you, honey.
Peaches! I 've not called you that in years!
Peaches, please come back to me
From the town, desert or the lea,
For where are you, dearest, darling Peaches?
Peaches, phone me on the trot.
I need you here... I love you lots!
