Letter

Did you get my letter?
I mailed it ten years ago
Salvaged my love broken
Tried to let it go
Trust and unearthed feelings
Unthwarted love of mine
Did you get my letter?
Words to cross through time
Please read and get back to me
My lost and lonely heart bleeds
A soul as broken as mine
You have what it needs
Money can’t mend a heart
As broken as mine is
Did you get my letter?
Forgive me for the pain
People are young and vain
Never meant to hurt you
My caring loving soul
Lost I am you are my whole.

I was wondering the very same thing:) Nice to read you again, Kelli. I have missed you. I hope you get your answer:) I think this is a sad write. Loneliness and regret are lousy company.
