Lets Tango
When just a young boy, an older girl was teaching
me to dance. Unfortunately, she failed at the teaching,
and disappointingly, I failed at the learning.
So, I have gone through life without dancing.
That is, until one day some 15 years ago, at home
alone, the perfect combination of desire and privacy
came along. I took advantage of the opportunity.
Yes, I said that I never learned to dance, but I was dancing.
Not the popular or secular way of dancing, but I was dancing.
No one to watch; no one to judge; and no one to laugh at me.
A Christian radio station was playing upbeat Christian music.
In my heart and mind, I was dancing like King David once danced.
It was a happy dance to The Lord, and there was no one to laugh.
Yes, God has the ability to laugh, but it's not likely He laughed at my
dancing because it was a hearty and happy dance to the glory of God.
Some say 'don't', but I say, 'Do try this at home when you'll all alone'.
